The four regular contributors to this blog, Kathrine, Emi, Lance, and Jill, graduated from the School of Information at the University of Michigan in May of 2009. After graduation, the spring and summer were spent either looking for jobs or beginning the jobs that we had been offered. We noticed that, although we all received a Master of Information (MSI) with a specialization in Archives and Records Management, our careers and jobs were already starting to take us in very different directions in the profession. We decided, wouldn’t it be interesting if we blogged about the challenges facing us as new professionals, as well as those differences that we face going down our chosen career paths. So, here we are.
