		<description>Most of the recording keeping that exists is historical, which means its intended to be kept and accessed at a future date for potentially a variety of different purposes.

The amount of data now stored world wide is mind bending, yet its not always easy to access or find period.

I totally see how the field of archivism (probably not a word...yet) is going to grow and become very important to companies, the economy, and society.  The better all this information is recorded and stored, the more useful it will actually be.</description>
